ReplyDeletethere's an extra hydrogen for propene
ReplyDeleteNo there isn't, since Carbon needs 4 bonds and there is a double bond between the carbons and a single bond from each hydrogen.
DeleteThere are 5 bonds on the middle carbon tho...

DeleteThat is the problem. Propene cannot have 7 hydrogens because that violates the general formula for Alkenes. Also there's the five bond in the middle carbon error.
DeleteThere should only be one hydrogen atom bonded to the middle carbon.
The correct structural formula of propene is CH2=CH-CH3
